Way to prevent caching of certain feeds

One of my subscribed feeds is Brian Krebs, security researcher. Posts often discuss computer viruses, malware, etc.

My hosting provider keeps marking the cached xml files as “Malicious Attempt to Access Your Hosting Account…” and quarantining them. I’ve spoken with them about this situation, but they claim they can’t whitelist the whole cache directory from the scanner.

Example cache file:
/home/myusername/public_html/tinytinyrss/cache/feeds/c45fd0086521cfa45a384e7d07917b792615bd6a.xml

Is there any way to tell TinyTinyRSS not to cache certain feeds, or perhaps some other workaround for this situation?

you can try making cache directory non-writable

Q: how do I
A: google it

Ok, that’s an idea. But that would prevent caching for all feeds, I believe.

This might not work for you, but I’d be looking for a more helpful/useful hosting provider around this time.

an alternative would involve making a plugin.
