i’ve ordered a tiny vds in Saint Petersburg which now serves as a traffic entrypoint for this forum and gitlab (and a few other things), so this connectivity no longer depends on any tunnels spanning country borders.
this doesn’t cost me anything and, if nothing else, everything is going to open a bit faster because traffic is no longer routed through France for no practical reason.
so unless we go actual full iron curtain mode, it’s going to be ok.
should’ve done this a while ago tbh.
