Search plugin using paradedb instead of Sphinx

The built-in full text search of PostgreSQL does not seem to support fuzzy search or ranking the articles according to similarity between article content and user query.

Full-text search using sphinx plugin support that, but it requires external binary and complicated configuration and synchronization.

I recently found a new PostgreSQL full-text search (and AI-assisted similarity search) plugin Quickstart - ParadeDB and I wonder if it’s possible to integrate this into ttrss as a new plugin (as an alternative to the old sphinx plugin).

anything is possible if you try hard enough.

Can I disable the built-in PostgreSQL FTS index if I use any of the search plugins?

search plugins should override built-in search.
