Mark article read button?

I’m looking at a RSS feed of articles.
I want to click a button to mark an article read.
I don’t want to open the article.
I don’t want to mark all the articles as read.

I see a checkbox, star, rss feed icon.

What I was is another icon to click to instantly mark the article as read, a not show it.

The workaround is to put checkmarks on the article, and then select “Mark as read”. Then I click the RSS feed to refresh so the read article are gone.

you can right click → toggle unread. if you need a button, you could make a plugin that adds it.
