I don’t see why installer is needed anymore, if you don’t want to use docker for whatever reason I’m sure you’ll be able to copy and edit config.php-dist as needed.
As for self registration, as far as I’m concerned anyone who wants it on tt-rss would roll their own registration page anyway. Stock one wasn’t really up to task, you’d want strong captcha or something like that.
