sorry if this is a dumb question, I’ve used RSS for years via basic readers but never a selfhost/server solution.
is there any way to disable auto updates while managing feeds updates on demand? Nothing gets updated upon disabling updates in Default update interval gui preference. I know the intervals are coded in ttrss. The 15 minutes interval is too long for my usage, on the other hand I don’t want and need to bombard servers every 15 minutes constantly, I only strive for getting updates when I need them.
One option would be to disable updates for a feed, and then (as needed) use the Feed Debugger to trigger a check (right-click feed → Debug feed → click Continue).
