I’ve searched the forums because I remember this topic has been discussed before, perhaps on the old forum as I’ve not been able to find the post.
But I recently updated my list of categories, however for some reason on the beta app the uncategorized category is not in the same order as on the web client (two different computers showing the same correct result).
I’ve tried wiping the data in the app, but still the uncategorized is number 4 from the top, instead of the bottom.
I’ve also tried the various options on sorting feeds by unread number, and disable “enable feed categories” and “Brose categories like feeds”
I’m running installed version of ttrss, on a VPS, with app password on the latest beta build through the play store, on a Pixel 3 with Android 11.
Any simple things I’ve missed?

wiping data or w/e in the app won’t help, if i remember correctly order is received via the api. there should be an option to reset sort order of categories (and another one for the feeds) in tt-rss preferences (-> feeds).
The strange thing is that even when I reset the sort order of categories they don’t line up between the web and app uncategorized is still nummer 3 from the bottom in the app

i dunno. to me uncategorized is always the last one, even if you drag it around it doesn’t stick in a different position because it’s not a “real” category.
it might be a bug somewhere but unless i can reproduce it here i can’t really do anything. you can PM me your database dump, i’ll try to take a look at it next week.

I don’t know what is going on here, but I’ve had a play with it.
From what I can see the “bug” is when the TTRSS default forum feed is in the uncategorized category.
I’m not going to try to explain it, but I just created a new category called uncategorised which is sortable and now it works fine 
I think if I export my OPML and imported it again with just the feeds the bug will go away.
And I’m thinking of moving my install to docker anyway…
