Slow scrolling in reading pane

Hi.

After updating to v19.12-76dd74e0d, scrolling an article text in the preview pane has slowed down to about 5 lines per second. Used to be times faster.

Of the three browsers tested – Safari, Firefox, Chrome – only Safari is business as usual.

Tried tweaking CSS as suggested here, to no avail.

Is there any way to regain the scrolling speed?
