Removing the "/tt-rss" redirect?

I have a subdomain, “rss.mydomain.com” which I would like to feed to the root of the TT-RSS website. In front of the native docker install, I’m using nginx to handle certs and reverse proxy to the container running on 8280.

Is this possible to remove the redirect? If not, is there another workaround? Thanks.
