Hello,

I can’t make the URL check work because of my setup (the domain check, when ttrss told you you are coming from an other domain than the one from the config file).

How can I fully disable that check ?
I’m using the regular git version (no docker).

Thank you.

Turn off the ‘TTRSS_SELF_URL_PATH’ self check? … Doubtful? But…

My situation: The majority of the time I connect to via my LAN to my local tt-rss server’s LAN IP address, but when occasionally away from my LAN, connecting via the Internet and to avoid getting blocked by the check prompt on my self-hosted LAN tt-rss server’s Internet address connect…
… well If you are attempting to accomplish something similar to what I just described, read on:

In this followup in a different thread @JustAMacUser provided a code addition that solves the log error issues mentioned after applying the initial config workaroung in ‘config.php’ in the first link.

idk? Maybe you can get this to work for you situation?
.

Thank you for the code, I’ll try that. I’m currently testing miniflux and it’s enough for my need.

Not gonna lie, that new config file without a complete basic exemple of how it works and that stupid check triggered the fuck out of me.
Had to look 10 minutes the forum for 1 argument in order to make it work, because it’s not mention anywhere in the faq, and then I hit that self check error…

Anyway, thank you for your solution. My setup is similar to yours, so it should do the trick. And if not, well, miniflux will do the job.

go be triggered somewhere else.

Well, I won’t even bother try the fix then.

Have a good one ! And you can ban this account as well ^^
