[Android app] A couple of suggestion

Hi Fox,

I am using the latest version of Android app. I was wondering if it could be possible to implement the following, in the app’s settings:

  1. allowing to choose the language of the user interface;
  2. allow to (un)group article by feeds, something like “Toggle headline grouping or f g” on the web version.

Reason for #1 is pretty obvious.

Reason for #2 is that I prefer articles grouped by feed for the sources I am most interested in, then I ungroup them, to read from the oldest. If I am not mistaken, the only solution right now would be to change the grouping on the web interface, to have it on the Android app.

Thank you in advance for considering my suggestions.

Regards

  1. android apps normally respect system locale, which is what tt-rss app does, i don’t see any reason to have an app-specific locale selector
  2. i’ve almost removed this feature from tt-rss proper several times, i’m not going to waste time implementing it for android. i’d rather remove it altogether.

tt-rss provides multiple better ways to do what you want without headline grouping. try reading this forum a bit more and examining features available to you.
