A way to change indicator_white.gif (dark background)

Is there a way to change the loading gif : indicator_white.gif in the css of my theme ?

I now use this one which is shown better on a dark background :

But by replacing it manually in the image folder, I know it will be reverted to the original as soon as I update from tt-rss git.

that’s not how git works, as long as you commit your changes.
